Since it's been cold over here, I've been thinking about making some broccoli and cheese soup. I found a recipe in a cookbook and it's delicious! Even Mike's mom loves it! :D Maybe I'll get the ingredients before I start my job, prep the stuff and make it when I get home. I only work 4 hours today but that's fine. I'm just excited that I was able to land at least a seasonal job. This is the best time to look! I wonder how many calories that soup is going to have :/ lol I'm gonna try to find low fat ingredients...if they're on sale. :P
Are you stretching enough before and after workouts? That might help with the cramping and soreness :( Don't injure yourself! But I'm proud of you, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteStretching is always very important. One way to work that in is to do opposing body parts on alternating days. ie. Back/Biceps MW, Chest/Triceps TTH.
ReplyDeleteIf you're worried about the calories, another yummy soup is French Onion. There's still cheese, but not as much.
Yes, stretch....but also soak in a nice, hot bath. Not only is it the most relaxing thing ever when you're tired and sore, but it will help loosen up your muscles as well. Bring a magazine or book ...and some bubbles. Maybe put a little music and candles on in there. Way cheaper than a spa, but oh so good.
ReplyDeleteAlso you can alternate things like light yoga or walking on the days you feel tired and sore. That will give your body a little time to rest and feel like itself again.
You are doing so well!!!!
Yeah you guys are right. I always forget to stretch. :( And oh Heather if only I had a tub cuz that sounds niiiice! XD lol But they have a jacuzzi so after the workout, I can soak in there for a bit. ^^ Oh and I think they have a yoga class but it's advance...I think. But I can try some yoga on the Wii! :P lol Thanks guys for all the support!
