Hi boys and girls. Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been up and down these past few days. Main thing I feel is that the anniversary of my father's passing has to do something with that. It was yesterday and I should move on. I think after the reminder is over, I'll be back to my old self again. :D It's a normal thing that happens to everybody. So I truly am okay. ^^
I saw a few friends posted on their blogs and one joined in. I should jump on the wagon again but I'm lacking the "gun-ho" attitude I had in the beginning. I haven't weighed myself and I haven't been to the gym in little over a week. I have been watching what I eat and not indulge myself like crazy. But sometimes it gets hard, too. I wish I had someone to go to the gym with me and have a goal together, but I have to realize that most of my friends are far away and the one friend I have close by gave up on the gym cuz she's having hardships at the moment and can't afford it. I just need to find the motivation to keep going. I have to try. So far, having this blog up and you guys reading it or at least following it is making me not completely give up. :P lol I love reading some of your blogs. Some of you write so beautifully that I want you to write my stories for me! lol! I suck at writing...as you can tell from my entries. :P hehehehe.... But ANYWAY..... I'm going to try to get back to the gym. If not this weekend, but starting Monday. It'll be a new day again. Even if after the 6 months are over, I lost 10 pounds...at least I kept moving forward and not falling back! Thanks to all my friends for just being YOU! XD
Yay for you Mayte! You will have your ups and downs, but the important thing is to just keep moving forward...always!
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with motivation too. Sometimes I find it's good to just go for a walk if you don't do anything else. At least that's something.
Thanks chica ^^ It's just that I always wanted to lose weight but I never get to the goal. I've lost and gained but never actually lose and stick with it. But thank you for your encouragement! ^^ I will do my best!
ReplyDeleteI lost almost 30 pounds a little over 2 years ago and have kept it off. I stagnated for a little while, and now I am working on losing another 10-15. It is TOUGH to lose weight, I'll tell you that, but if you stick with it and count your calories and exercise every day, you can do it! ...and don't think you failed if you go nutso one day and eat a bunch of nachos and cookies and watched TV instead of going on a run (which I have a tendency to do), just start over again the next day and stick to it. I'm trying to lose my last few and get into shape right now also, so if you ever want to get together and go do something active, let me know!
ReplyDeleteMy parents just bought a house in Running springs, which is up near Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. They are fixing it up right now so it's all torn apart and covered in smelly wet paint, but when they get it all in running order they said I can go up on some weekends with Norwood or with friends if I want to. You don't live too far from there, maybe you can come up and we can go hiking or snowboarding or something fun and exercisey like that.
